Coaching Groups are divided into Red - Ages 4-6, Orange -Ages 7-11, and Green - Ages 7-11 The correct group for your child depends more on their skill level than their age, although we are sensitive to the social preferences of the children, and try to ensure groups are of a similar age. However, if your child is a wiz at tennis, we will not hold him or her back! Did you know? That coordination skills are the greatest factor in acquisition of technical skills for tennis Coordination skills are best learnt before children reach their teens Our Mini Tennis programme aims to develop the all-round physical abilities of young children, to enable them to enjoy tennis for years to come. For this reason, your child will Spend time in every Mini Tennis lesson working on throwing. catching. moving. balancing, and coordination skills as part of their physical development. Spend a certain amount of time on activities which do not require a tennis racket. Play other sports such as basketball, netball and football within a tennis lesson Learn more quickly it you can help develop these skills between lessons
